About Lais

. My name is Lais and I'm originally from Brazil; currently living in San Mateo, I have been in SF Bay area for over 17 years. I am a Psychology major at California State East Bay; my love of Psychology began early on while I was still in High School. After High school I was able to take various Psychology classes and fell in love with the study of the mind and behavior. I am passionate about helping people and very interested in human behavior. I come from a family where we believe that kids are the hope for a brighter future; from early age I was taught that each and every kind of act towards a kid should be done with love. I love kids because they are so honest, if they cry they mean it and when they smile they also mean it. I started to learn how to care for children early because I am from a large family and I always helped my grandmother take care of my younger cousins while my uncle and aunts where at work.
