Ever since I can remember I have been drawn to the care of diverse learners. My very first job was with a special needs school not far from my house. I was 15 then, and at 31 I am just as passionate about seeing diverse learners reach their full potential as people than I've ever been. I have experience with special needs persons ages 5-22. I was a one on one aid for a child in a Charter School for a year. After that I worked for 2. 5 years as a paraprofessional at Easterseals Academy, where I had the privilege of working with multiple age groups and students with varying disabilities. Currently I'm a Special Education Classroom Assistant at a high school. The work that I do is a joy, but more than that, it is an honor.
