About Lacey

I am currently a certified pre-k -12th grade special education teacher and teach full-time in a pre-k blended classroom with students of varying levels of disability. I love my job and especially the kids that I get the chance to work with daily. I have a big heart for kids that struggle to maintain attention and those with learning differences. I also have a special love for children with disabilities as my 16-year-old son was born with Down syndrome and is also on the autism spectrum. I am a positive, supportive and caring individual that would also offer assistance with any homework or tutoring that your children may need in order to allow them to be more successful at school. I have taught a variety of grade levels and have experience with teaching intensive reading and math from grades k-6. If you are looking for a safe and inviting home for your children to stay in the evenings/ overnights then I would love to offer care to you!
