About Kyra

I am a foreign Dentist from the Dominican Republic, a part-time Dental Hygiene student at Hostos Community College. As someone who loves caring for children and sharing my knowledge and time with them, I am a very active person and enjoy being outdoors and playing with kids. I have babysat my youngest brother since I was 15 years old, helping with homework, preparing meals, and getting him ready for bedtime. My mother is a pediatrician from whom I've learned to take care of kids when they are sick. In addition, pediatric dentistry was my favorite subject while in my dentistry formation. Each child has different needs, and as childcare professionals, we must learn their personality to help them grow in the best healthy way possible. I have 7+ experience working with kids of all ages.
