I began my career working as a Medical Assistant, but always had a passion for Psychology. I then began working as a mental health technician in a hospital for over 2 years. I currently work with adults with special needs as a community service aide and I have been in this position for over a year. Duties that I have performed are assistance with transferring, assistance with medications, hygiene, ambulation and mobility, behavioral support plans and guidelines, participating in activities, such as arts and crafts and games, including hand-over-hand if needed and transportation. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in applied behavioral analysis. I love working with individuals, to promote independence and to encourage enjoying life to the fullest.
