My name is Kristine and I am a patient caring person looking to help people in need of care giving and companionship. My experience actually began when I cared for my own grandmother for 3 years. I managed her medications, prepared meals, housekeeping and laundry. She was diabetic and had experienced mini strokes which caused dementia. My experience also includes caring for hospice patients and for a patient living in an Assisted Living facility with COPD that relied on oxygen. 4/2015 - 5/2016: Caregiver for a woman with ALS that had slowly progressed for 5 years. Duties included taking care of her cooking, shopping, bathing and managing her medications through a feeding tube and doing my best to keep her smiling. My schedule allows me to be very flexible with hours and days.

Kristine was a caregiver for my mother for over a year until my mom passed away. In that time, my mother came to consider Kristine one of her very best friends in the world. Kristine helped to get my mother out of bed, help her bathe & wash her hair, helping her administer medication and feedings via gastro-tube and helping her with her stretching and PT exercises. She also went above and beyond to help with duties around the house such as laundry, cleaning and cooking dinner on occasion for my father who was at work. She also helped to lift my mom's spirits when they were low and always had a positive attitude when with her. Mom always looked forward to when Kristine came over, she was an excellent caregiver and friend to my mother in her final days and we are eternally grateful for that. We couldn't have picked a better caregiver and I would highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for someone who puts their heart into their work.
