About Kristen

Hi, my name is Kristen. I am a certified teacher, with a bachelor's degree in Cross-Categorical Special Education, K-12. I have been taking care of and teaching children since I was 12 years old. In high school, I volunteered 480 hours at a local daycare. In college, I volunteered more than 200 hours at The Arc of the Ozarks and the Boys and Girls Town. I have completed over 400 hours of early childhood and elementary school teaching practicums. Professionally, I worked in an elementary school for just under 2 years, teaching 48 children with special and exceptional needs from the ages of 5 (transitional kindergarten)-10 (5th grade). As a teacher, I realized I had a passion for more personal early child education and left the school to become a nanny. I have been working as a nanny for the past three years, taking care of and teaching a child from the ages of 2-6. My years of experience have strengthened my calling to continue to work with young children and I hope you will consider me
