I own and run a licensed family daycare. I opened it because I have two young boys, a 3-year-old and a 10-month-old. finding flexible care that fit my needs and wasn't super expense was impossible. I want to provide the safe environment that a licensed facility offers but also offer parents some flexibility. I'm a high energy person who loves arts and crafts, playing outside, engaging in imaginary play, and teach young kids the basic foundations of formal education (alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors).
