About Kirsten

I'd describe my personality as fun, easygoing, and honest. I like working with kids because it is rewarding to share in their growth and development. Every experience is a new learning opportunity. I'm looking to work for a family with Christian values. At this point, I am looking to work during the summer and possibly date nights I started working with kids in 2004 after I graduated with a bachelor's degree in education. In my spare time, I like to ride bikes, swim, read, do puzzles, and crafts. One thing you should know about me is I am a teacher. I patiently engage with children to express their needs and wants. My skills include 1. follow the child's interests to organically teach through play, 2. challenge the child to increase their own skills, and 3. plan engaging activities that are fun and educational
