I am a very friendly and outgoing girl who loves and adores children, they are my passion. I hope to one day become a special needs counselor or child services worker. My experience with children includes working at a club as tennis youth instructor along with a recreation center for the past 4 years from ages 4-13. As for special needs children experience I have an autistic cousin who is high on the spectrum. I love being with him and seeing the world through his eyes, along with being able to have fun with him. I also help out with an autistic child at my church who is lower on the spectrum. Being goofy with him and sharing laughs makes my Sundays the best part of the weekend. I am only 17 years of age but I am willing to prove myself as a responsible hard worker when it comes to this job. I believe special needs children are just like any other children out there and can do anything they set their minds to. Their creativity and positivity reminds me of why I have a passion for children and keeps me smiling. Being able to help out families is my ideal goal and knowing I made a child happy makes my day.
