About Kim

I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate and comical! I'm looking for a job that I can be myself and know the family trusts in my integrity and experience to commit to the health and happiness of their child. First I volunteered for teachers and loved what I did so I was hired as a part time lunch monitor and witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly of children free of a classroom setting. In my spare time, I like to visit with my family, friends and shop till I drop. One thing you should know about me is I have experienced every scenario and behavior that children today are displaying. My favorite part of the job is consoling and reassuring parents that their child is "normal" and not to get caught up in the hype of labels of today's medical or mental terms! Adults forget to let kids be kids! My skills include caring companionship, dealing with the stress and emotions children are facing, and always taking time to listen to your child's needs and wants.
