About Kim

I have loved and taken care of children since I was a child myself. I started taking care of infants and toddlers at church when I was 11 and from there went on to take care of many children from infants to elementary aged children when I was a teenager. I have had the joy of being a mother and enjoyed every moment raising my own son. I am also a certified teacher with nine years of experience teaching art, math, ESL and Spanish. I love children and they connect with me, too. I am thankful for the joy they bring to this world and for opportunities to peer at the world through a child's eyes while teaching and caring for them. When I care for children, I use every teachable moment to answer questions, teach skills and help children explore their world. I don't believe in just "babysitting". In fact, there's very little sitting involved in child care. I love being actively engaged in play/learning activities with children. I would consider it a joy and a privilege to care for your precious little ones.
