I was a LPN for 30 yrs, I decided to further my education and received my associates degree in nursing December 2017. I have been working in long term care for the last 18 yrs on a dementia unit. I enjoy working with dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I feel I make a difference in their lives. I look at them as a person and not just the person in room. I try to and make them feel comfortable, by engaging in things they like to do, listen to music, paint, dance, talk about their past, pet visits, anything that makes them comfortable. I am a caring compassionate nurse that takes pride in the care that I provide. I am married with 18-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. 5 dogs and one cat. My hobby is photography, I plan on attending a photography class at Front Range Community College, to broaden my knowledge in photography.
