I am an experienced private tutor who opened my own practice in Los Angeles after six years at an elite tutoring company in New York City. Previously a lecturer of English at Brooklyn College, I have taught the SAT and ACT at several New York private high schools. My high school students have gone on to attend the University of Chicago, Columbia, Duke, Vanderbilt, and Tufts, among many others. I also tutor students in organizational skills and executive functioning, advise students on their admissions essays, and cover a wide range of subjects as an academic tutor. I also have extensive experience working with students with learning differences and assisting students from other countries in their transition to the American education system.
