I am very interested in working with children with special needs. For the past 10 years I have been working with children with special needs ranging from severe to moderate diagnosis. My working background includes Paraprofessional, Special Education Assistant, Behavior Support Assistant, Instructional Behavior Technician and Special Education Technician. For the past 16 months I have been working with the San Diego Unified School District Special Needs Department, working with children of such diagnoses ranging from Autism to severe to moderate special needs. I have also worked in the respite department in which the working environments are in the home for special needs children. I am very passionate about what I do because, I love working with children and my heart goes out to those and to the children who cannot help themselves with general day to day life challenges. I believe that everyone can be a helper, a learner and a teacher.
