I have previous experience as a respite provider and personal care worker. I found these roles very rewarding. I also have a unique lens and additional skill set because I am an occupational therapist in a hospital and work with the geriatric population on a daily basis. Detail oriented, creative, caring I am all about maximizing independence with activities of daily living and functional mobility/transfers and promoting aging in place for as long as it's safe. I am looking for a very part time role that offers a flexible schedule. I am leaning more toward respite work just because of my schedule, however am also open to personal care work and other tasks pending the client's needs. I love to read, travel, play volleyball, and spend time with my dog I care for my clients like family. I still am in contact with some of my former clients today based on how great of a relationship I formed with them and their families.
