I grew up attending an in-home daycare where I was the oldest child. From a young age I was taught to help care for kids and infants! My mom is an elementary school teacher so when I got older (16) I was recruited to run an 8 week after-school childcare program, where I entertained and played educational games with a group of 20 kids ranging from ages 1-9. I was never interested in teaching, but often found myself gravitating toward childcare work.
