Hello! My name is Kendal! I am currently enrolled in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program at Seattle University! I have a Bachelors in Biopsychology, and have been working with children for over five years. I have experience working with infants to adolescents, as well as children with varying abilities. Both my educational background and work experience has been tailored to children with behavioral disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and ADHD to name a few. Teaching and learning are huge passions of mine. During my undergraduate education I taught mental health and healthy decision making in NYC public high schools. In addition, I tutored elementary school children in a program that provides homework help to children with parents who experience a language barrier. In my free time, I love to paint, cook, and be outdoors! I look forward to hearing from you!
