About Kelsey

I have my Associate's of Occupational Studies degree in Veterinary Technology. I am hugely passionate about animals and feel at peace when surrounded by nature. I am strong both mentally and physically, with a positive attitude and sunny disposition. I have a great respect and understanding of all animals and all things living. It's my lifelong dream to educate children and adults more than they previously knew about animals and their place in this world, how we can respect, interact, and help to conserve different species. I look for the positive in people and am intrigued and accepting of different, morals, personalities, and ideas. I am creative and innovative. I am a dedicated pet owner (long-haired Chihuahua, Dumerils Boa, African Grey Parrot, and a cat). I grew up in Boise, Idaho and have been fortunate enough to interact with many different species of animals from a young age. I have had classroom, lab, and hands-on education in: phlebotomy, radiology, medication administration including: Intravenous medications, catheter setting, monitoring of anesthesia, surgical assistance, bandaging, splinting, animal restraint, injections, EKG's, sterilization techniques, dentistry, lab testing, prescription filling, and patient treatment. I am looking to be an animal caretaker to earn extra money on top of my current job as a massage therapist. I am a trustworthy, well-spoken, loving, responsible, timely, mature, tidy, young woman.
