About Kelsey

Prior to my Chicago move, I was in grad school at NCSU for Social Work. I nannied for two families during that time (almost 3 years)-- one during the day and the other a few days a week after school and at night. I spent the rest of my time in class or at my internship at Duke Hospital. Prior to that, I was a middle and high school science teacher in Milwaukee, WI. I absolutely love working with kids but decided to leave the classroom in hopes of eventually going back to school for psychology. While I was in Wisconsin, I also went to graduate school at a university. Before Milwaukee, I graduated from Ohio State (biology major and psychology minor) where I worked at a school for students with special needs which mainly served children with autism. I was there for about three years and had a variety of different jobs during my time there. I worked in the daycare with children, ages 8 months to 3 years in addition to being a rotating teachers aide in many different classrooms (ages 4-14).
