I am experienced and love working, playing and creating with kids of all ages and stages of development. I have worked in both educational and therapeutic settings as well as home-based care. During my career I have worked with kids(and adults) who had behavioral, developmental and intellectual challenges as well as kids on the autism spectrum. I am creative (love arts and crafts), patient and think good humor and a positive attitude is one of the most important things I can offer. I went back to school so that I could be better educated to work in the field of human services. I have always wanted to work with kids. Initially I was going to be a social worker. But have found that in many of those positions you spend the major part of your day buried in paper work and that just is not for me. I want to make personal connections and support their goals and hear them laugh and play. That is how I like to spend my day.
