I cannot begin to describe how rewarding it is to work with special needs children. It truly is a passion of mine. Although at times it can be difficult, it is very rewarding overall. I first fell in love with special needs children when I was 10 years old and my little brother was born with autism. He has his good and bad days, but over time we understood each other. I would be the only one that could babysit him (other than my parents) because I understood him. It's amazing to me how happy he is all the time. He is truly a blessing in my life & would love the opportunity to be able to touch the lives of other children like my brother.
