Nice to (virtually) meet you! The professional: I am an experienced educator and caregiver with formal teaching experience. I graduated from The University of Chicago in 2022 in Creative Writing. While there, I worked as a Resident Assistant and a tutor. I received a Fulbright grant, enabling me to teach English to students in Madrid, Spain, for a year. I am a certified Louisiana substitute and a former Breakthrough Silicon Valley fellow. (Plus, I have a car and can drive!) The personal: Working with children has always been a joy for me. My mom is a teacher and my dad is a nurse, so I joke that caregiving runs in my blood. I'm passionate about storytelling and the city of New Orleans, which is about 45 minutes from where I grew up.
