About Kayla

Hello! I have worked as a nanny for four families over the course of the last five years. I've worked with two infants, four toddlers, and two children between the ages of 5 and 8 in that timespan. I like to prioritize activities with the kids that contribute to their cognitive, social, and emotional development. I've also taught the kids I nanny letters, numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week, and basic responsibilities appropriate to their age that help them grow in their sense of personal capability and independence. I have helped quite a few through potty training! In addition, I'm used to tidying up the house with some light housework, emptying and refilling the dishwasher, folding laundry, preparing meals, reading to the kids, and making sure they get outside for some quality playtime. As needed, I'm also happy to drive any kids I nanny to and from school or extracurricular activities, help them with homework, and simultaneously take care of any pets in the home.
