About Kayla

Growing up my mom was a foster parent. At one time we had a minimum of 8 kids in the house so I have been around kids all my life. I helped my mom to care for them from the time I was 7. As I got older I also helped out family members and family friends with babysitting their kids during the summer. I now have a 2yr old daughter and have spent the last 3 years working with physically and mentally disabled people. I have worked with autism, down syndrome, and people with severe intellectual disability, and know how to care for people with trachs, PEG tubes, and ostemey bags. Keep in mind though I am not a nurse and can only do so much with these things. I am CPR and first aid certified.
