About Kaye

I am a former educator and principal looking to work with a remarkable family with complex needs. I am a a reader, an artist, an animal lover, and all things sparkly! As a former nanny, I have extensive experience with children of all ages, including wee ones just home from the hospital. I am the mother of two grown daughters and the bonus mom (foster mother for nine years) to two brilliant 18-year-old sons. I am Nana to a 5 yr old who was the reason for my career change, my renewed interest in backyard hockey, and new understanding of monster trucks. I believe that every child needs to be held, rocked, read to (extensively, some might say). I believe every child should have the opportunity to chase butterflies and bubbles, and get their hands dirty with paint, sparkles, and dirt. I believe that children are not spoiled, they are loved, and sometimes love looks different when you are wee! I would love to talk to you about your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
