Hi, my name is Katrina. I recently graduated from California State University Northridge, with my BA in psychology. I have hands on experience working with individuals with special needs, both adults and children. I truly love the work I do and have decided to make it my career path. I have experience planning and organizing group activities to teach members skills they can use in everyday life such as, communication skills, table manners, public safety, money management, healthy eating habits, exercise activities and arts and crafts. I am currently working part time as an after school nanny in which I provide after school pick up, help with homework, organization skills, light meal prep and of course being a positive role model for the child. I find this line of work to be very rewarding and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with you and your loved one.

Katrina interned with our social group for persons with special needs for almost 2 years. She is dependable, hard working, understands and is very sensitive to the needs of this population. She is a good listener, has proper boundaries, and will pitch in when she sees something is needed. Katrina is a very caring individual and we were very happy to have her on our staff.
