About Katie

I started babysitting over 15 years ago and never stopped! I have worked with a wide range of families with kids ages 1-15, up to 5 at a time. My five years as a camp counselor gave me invaluable skills in managing up to 100 children at a time in structured activities. In school, I started giving French tutoring lessons, which I continued through college as I obtained my French degree. I then spent two school years teaching English to French elementary students. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and allowed me to learn language immersion teaching skills, which I offer as a part of my care. I adapt to each family's needs, typically working with multiple siblings at the same time, whether it's conversation practice, structured lessons, or immersive babysitting. In addition, as an artist I also offer painting and ceramics enrichment that kids of all ages can enjoy!
