About Katie

Since I was young, all my jobs had to do with children. I babysat, worked at a preschool, got a teaching credential, and became a classroom teacher for 8 years. I later became a stay at home mom, raising three sons who are all grown now. Today I am back in the classroom as a substitute teacher. I have always enjoyed working with children and wish to bring success out of each child. I would describe myself as patient, caring and kind. I love to travel, explore new restaurants, and spend time with family. I swam on the swim team in high school for three years and I swam competitively in junior college for two years. I will be working on getting my CPR certification renewed. I just signed up for Care. com and will get that ASAP.
