Hello! I am a fairly recent graduate of the Human Services Leadership bachelor's degree program at UW-Oshkosh. After running away to work in the Happiest Place on Earth for a few months, I realized that what brought me the most joy in life is working with individuals with disabilities and special needs. Through my experience working as a special needs swim instructor, lifeguard for the Special Olympics, and intern at SOAR Fox Cities; an agency that provides programming for people of all abilities, I landed a job at Milwuakee Center for Independence in their adult day program. My passion for providing a safe, fun, and inclusive space for people with special needs grew exponentially! Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic the center has been closed. I am hoping through Care. com I will be able to continue to provide a fun, safe and supportive experience for individuals with special needs.
