About Kathleen

Hi I'm Kathleen, but I go by Kat. I started caregiving after taking care of my Great Grandmother. I love the elderly and love being the person that's there when they need someone. I started off working in a memory care facility, taking care of people with Alzheimer's, and Dementia. I worked in that facility for 4 1/2 years. After that I started doing in-home care which I like a lot more because I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as they can and I love the one on one interaction. I'm CPR certified, I was MED certified, it expired but I still retained the knowledge. I am experienced in personal hygiene care, oxygen, nebulizer, CPAP machines, gait belt, Hoyer lift, transfers, range of motion, feeding, transportation, redirecting that comes with Alzheimer's, and Dementia, catheter care, and incontinence care, type one diabetes, Paraplegic, Quadriplegic, Parkinson's, dementia, Alzheimer's, ALS etc. Please let me know if I can help you out with your loved one.
