About Kathleen

Hi! My name is Kate, and I am a recent grad from Baylor University where I majored in Child and Family Studies. Now, I'm starting on a masters of counseling at Texas State. I have five years of experience in private childcare as well as experience working in an early childhood education setting. I've taken courses on family theory, child development, and value of play. I'm also an American Red Cross certified lifeguard which means that I'm CPR certified. Outside of school, I like to spend time outdoors, walking or hiking, read and journal, and do any kind of arts and crafts! I value organization and efficient communication. Consistency and responsibility are invaluable when working as a childcare provider because you are trusting me with the most valuable thing in your world, your kid!!
