About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katherine and I'm a private music teacher and a college music professor with years of experience working with children and young adults of all ages. Teaching music has given me a deep appreciation for the creativity, curiosity, and energy that kids bring to every moment - and I absolutely love being a part of that journey. Because I'm on summer break from my teaching position, I have ample availability during the summer months to offer babysitting and nannying support. I bring the same patience, attentiveness, and playful spirit to childcare as I do to my teaching. Whether it's helping with homework, reading stories, playing games, or even introducing your child to music through fun, age-appropriate activities, I'm happy to tailor the experience to your family's needs.
