I grew up being homeschooled from 4th to 10th grade and taught my 4 younger siblings and foster children staying in our home throughout these years. I volunteered in Athens, GA to tutor poverty stricken children and was certified as a substitute teacher in Georgia. Most recently, I was the lead tutor in a therapeutic Community Modality for orientation to the community and also for those acquiring their GED through the program. I love that feeling I get when I explain things in a way that someone who thought they couldn't ever understand catches on for the first time!
