Hi, I am a mom of 4 children between the ages of 7-22. My eldest son has severe special needs, including Cognitive Disabilities, a Disruptive Behavioral Disorder, Mood Disorder, PDD-NOS. Raising him has been the hardest thing I have ever done. However, I believe doing so has also opened up my heart to those with special needs and the families. I want to help give the parents who often struggle alone or as a couple, some much needed rest and time away, feeling their child is well taken care of and having fun. I am also very interested in working with families who have, infants and/or small children who need care. I can care for newborns and older siblings so to help families adjust, or just provide sitting services as needed.

I have known Katherine for close to twenty years and I cannot say enough great things about her! She would be a wonderful caregiver for any person, especially someone with special needs. She is compassionate, caring and discerning. She has had her own journey with her special needs son, who is now a young adult. She has always been loving and caring with her son and a great advocate for him, too. Katherine is also a huge animal lover! She has always had multiple pets as long as I have known her and is always crazy about the welfare of her animals. They truly are members of the family!
