I also assist them with general household tasks such as meal preparation, light housework, and laundry. I have accompanied them to doctor's appointments, taken them grocery shopping, or just taken them out to a park or mall just to walk around and get some exercise. In addition to general caretaking, I enjoy providing companionship. Talking to them, playing cards, or just watching their favorite TV shows with them allows me to get to know them and build a friendship and trusting relationship with them.

Kathy is an amazing caregiver and person. Kathy cared for our mom for over two years. Our mom has Alzheimer's and Kathy has been by her side caring for her like she was family. She has always tended to every need for our mom from companion and personal care and well beyond. Kathy's compassion and dedication to our mom was so comforting to us, she made our mom happy every day. Always willing to go above a beyond Kathy is extremely trustworthy, dependable, and kind. Alzheimer's is such a heart -breaking and difficult disease, but Kathy managed to handle mom respectfully and being so attentive to her needs. Kathy is a remarkable caregiver, and your loved one would be very fortunate to be cared for by this truly wonderful person.
