About Katherine

II've never worked in senior care in the U. S., and this would be my first job in this field if I have the opportunity. Allow me to share a bit about my background and experiences. I am originally from the Philippines and moved to the U. S. in 2016. In Filipino culture, we are very family-oriented and prioritize taking care of our loved ones. I have experience caring for my grandmother, who was in her 80s and struggled with memory issues and mobility challenges. I genuinely love taking care of people. In my most recent position, I served as a full-time assistant teacher in the Early Education Department at Grace Community School for 22 months. I worked closely with my lead teacher to manage the K4 class. Together, we created a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. I have a reliable, fun, and caring demeanor, also defined by qualities such as patience, compassion. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, taking walks and watching our favorite TV shows with my husband.
