About Kate

Hi there! My name is Kate and I am a proud Auntie of 6 nieces and nephews! They're a big part of my life, and I love spending time with them. I'm 41 years old, and I live alone with two cats I rescued! I'm a pediatric social worker, but I'm looking for some opportunities to supplement my income. I have been a social worker for about 20 years, and in the last 6 years I've worked supporting families who have a child(ren) with complex medical needs. I'm comfortable watching children and pets. On many occasions I've taken my 6 nieces and nephews for overnights, so I'm comfortable with caring for multiple children at a time. Where I work full time, I'm not looking for a consistent job, but for opportunities to work on a week night or weekend if a family needs a sitter from time to time or for a special event! I'm happy to provide a reference if needed! I'm open to working any evening during the week, or on the weekend, if my schedule allows!
