Hi, I'm Kate! As a childcare professional, my goal is to always put kids first, supporting them as they navigate important stages of their life. I began my childcare journey at 17 years old volunteering at my church daycare, and worked as a ballet instructor for children ages 18-months to 9 years old in my college years. In addition to working as a private nanny to a toddler in San Francisco, I also have experience with back-up care nannying all around New York. I have a passion for nurturing kid's creativity, curiosity, and sense of individuality, implementing activities where they can learn, have fun, and just be kids! Originally from Southern California, I recently moved to Brooklyn, NY. In my free time, I love to read, practice hot yoga, and work on writing projects. Kate was wonderful with our little one! Our family was not yet accustomed to having a caregiver and she made us feel comfortable and secure. She was flexible with naps and our scheduling, warm, and we felt confident in her care!
