Hi! My name is Katelyn and I'm passionate about helping young learners grow and thrive. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Inclusive Elementary Education and have spent the last three years as a first-grade teacher. Prior to that, I worked with preschool-aged children for two years, giving me a strong foundation in early childhood education. My teaching style is all about meeting students where they are. I specialize in creating engaging, hands-on lessons that are tailored to each child's unique needs and learning style. I believe in the power of scaffolding to build confidence and ensure lasting understanding. Whether we are working on reading, math, or early writing skills, I aim to make learning fun, meaningful, and effective. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time outdoors! You can often find me mountain biking, hiking, camping, or paddle boarding. I look forward to supporting your child's educational journey and helping them reach their full potential!
