About Katelyn

I have had extensive experience caring for children ranging in age from infancy to upper elementary school. I have been a first grade teacher for the past two years. I have my Bachelors Degree from SUNY Geneseo, Childhood and Special Education Grades 1-6. I am earning my Masters Degree from Binghamton University currently, Literacy B-Grade 6. I am hoping to provide tutoring services to elementary aged children in the summer who are looking to gain some extra academic support over the summer. I have a passion for helping students advance their reading skills, specifically, and use research-based strategies to help students advance their reading skills. I would be willing to provide virtual tutoring, as this is something I have done in the past, or I am willing to provide in-person tutoring if you reside in the Binghamton area. I look forward to working with you and your child to further their academic success!
