About Kate

Nice to meet you! My name is Kate, and I am looking for work in the Chicago area (preferably in the Avondale/Logan Square area) as a Nanny or Pet Sitter for the summer (June 23-Sept 3). I have 3 years of experience working as an art teacher at a children's art camp, where I supervised kids ages 5-12. I love hanging out with kids, whether it be returning to my art camp roots and doing a fun craft, or just keeping them occupied with a book or show. I am also the eldest of three and grew up supervising my two siblings quite a bit (pictured is us at my brother's high school graduation!) I am a current junior at St. Olaf College where I am majoring in English. I am a section editor for my college newspaper, and also enjoy theater, music, and yoga :) One thing you should know about me is I am great at keeping your kids entertained! My art camp experience came with a lot of time playing games and making fun when "there's nothing to do."
