About Karisa

Hi, I am recently graduated from CSU, Fullerton with a BS in Public Health, minoring in food studies. During my education, I worked in childcare and hospitality. I love working with children and have taken courses in child development/psychology. As a care provider, I cared for children from 2 families, each for 2+ years full- and part-time. When taking care of children, I prioritize safety, wholesome nutrition, outside play, and educational activities. Recently, I worked at Nick's restaurant as a food server. This position taught me strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills. In this position, and any other setting, I am friendly, a quick learner, and hardworking. I also have experience as a lifeguard, so I have had CPR and first aid training. I would be happy to accommodate a variety of schedules and needs. My education ranges from english and history to STEM topics- and I am happy to tutor as well. I am excited to hear how I might be able to help you and your family!
