About Karen

I have four grown kids, 9 adult foster children, and 12 grandchildren from that combination. I'm creative, loving, upbeat, positive, and loyal. I am a follower of Christ who loves to love on others. I'm a good cook, an avid reader, a good listener. I've worked with veterans and first responders, and even was caregiver to my husband after he was wounded in action, helping him with his daily activities like bathing, dressing, and getting around the house. I administered IV antibiotics through a port for several months. I have been companion and caregiver to people with Alzheimers, Parkinson, and dementia. I believe my degree in psychology will help me understand clients' feelings, and treat them with compassion and positive regard. I am working on my masters degree in counseling. I have a servant heart and want to help in any way I can.
