I'm 58 years old and have been working with Care. com for 2 years now and have had some wonderful clients, who now I call family. My background: I was an administrator of an assisted living facility/memory care (early Alzheimer's and dementia) for 3 years, often filling in as a caregiver along with providing exercise, arts, crafts, transportation and overall companionship for seniors. I have worked in senior healthcare for a total of 15 years, including as a case manager at Siskin Hospital Physical Rehabilitation for 5 years. I would like to help families remain in their home instead of going into a facility. I am very flexible and can assist for 1-2 weeks, a few days a week, or helping families who are just needing a break as a primary caregiver.
