About Karen

I have a firm belief that children are a true gift to this world! Therefore, I have always loved being around children and have a special gift in working with them. I have a very alive inner child that quickly and easily connects and bonds with children and teens of all ages. I have a very alive imagination and I love to play, craft, play sports, bike ride, sing, read books to them and to spend time in nature with them. I am a very fit and active woman who used to teach fitness classes to children and I also was a certified swim instructor, lifeguard and diving instructor. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old and have fostered many connections with children in various settings. I have taken care of children from a few weeks old to spending precious moments with teenagers. I also counseled children, teens, and families for my training for my Master's degree in Counseling. I am a very dependable and conscious being that extends much comfort, kindness, warmth and fun!
