About Karen

I love to teach, and I know how much it can help a child's self confidence when they see their knowledge advancing, their skills improving, and their grades going up. I have the most experience with teaching reading and writing English and with teaching reading and speaking Spanish. My knowledge of English grammar is more extensive than that of most English teachers. I can also tutor the following academic courses: math up to Algebra I, French up to Level II, civics, and history as well as the following extracurriculars: yoga, biking, and any racquet or paddle sport. I believe it's helpful to take breaks from academic work to do something active and fun.
