I have been teaching and caring for children in the Early Childhood field for over 17 years. I've also worked as a Teacher Assistant for 5 years in the Chapel Hill- Carrboro City School District. I have worked with children as young as 6 weeks old and as old as 12 years old. I am experienced with sleep training and baby led weaning for infants and cooking, meal prep, shopping, homework assistance and tutoring. While, I do believe in sticking to schedules, I also believe in Montessori based teaching or hands on teaching and letting children lead in their learning. I believe that our children are our link to the future.

Ms Karen M. is such a kind and reliable indivisual. I felt very comfortable leaving my child with her. Ms.Karen was her first sitter outside of her Daycare Center. Ms. Karen followed all my instructions down to schedule of her activities and feeding time. I enjoyed the extra steps she took into making my child comfortable , such as having other items she can play with & had read time with her. Ms.Karen also took an extra step and sent me a few pic snaps of her playing, eatting & napping. I really appreciate the all she had done. Ms Karen M. we look forward to our next visit. Thank you
