Karen provided part-time care for my aging mother in her home over the past year. She routinely worked two morning shifts of 2 hours, and two evening shifts of 1-2 hours, with great flexibility to cover additional shifts during the week or weekend. Karen was consistently punctual, attentive to responsibilities, and thorough. Primary duties included oversight to assure mom took medications, light housekeeping, light meal prep and socialization. Karen took it upon herself to do outside reading and/or internet search of information about Dementia and pre-Alzheimer's to assist her in managing my mom's swings in mood/behavior. Karen was willing to meet with us periodically to discuss strategies and assure compliance with the caregiver plan.
