As a mother of two grown children, I have worked 6 years serving children with special needs, ages 3-21 in school settings consisting of both special needs and mainstream classrooms. I have a paraprofessional certificate. In addition, I have taken care of over 8 people of various ages and health conditions long-term, some hospice like care, some care for those with life-threatening illnesses, and many who lived unique lives. I am studying now to be an RN. I am CPR certified. I am passionate about enhancing the lives of others, whether assisting families with members who have special needs, the elderly with unique situations, and teens/preadolescence. Simply put, I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others and helping families who need assistance to meet the needs of their loved ones.
